This concert brings together two eminent protagonists of the Israeli ethnic music scene. Yair Dalal, one of Israel's most famous musicians, has committed himself from the outset of his career to preserving and revitalizing the musical heritage of the Iraqi Jews. Yagel Haroush, a young singer and instrumentalist who already delighted YSW audiences in Weimar and Erfurt last year, stands for the Moroccan-Jewish heritage. Together, they create a virtuosic firework display of spiritual melodies and songs of love and longing. A unique concert followed by a Jam Session with YSW artists and workshop participants.
